HELLO WOOD ADDS INSTALLATIONS TO THE TOKAJ LANDSCAPE

0

Abaújszántó, Golop, Mád, Mezőzombor, Monok, Tállya and Tokaj are the region's seven municipalities where university students of architecture and fine arts erected their installations, under the Hello Wood project, this year. The installations are intended to be permanent additions to the UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Landscape of the Tokaj region and, while some are of questionable artistic or aesthetic value, there are nice examples of the opposite, one such being the 'Furmint Lightening' that mimics the veins in a Furmint grapevine leaf at the bottom of Mád's Nyulászó vineyard [see image].

Hello Wood is a design studio as well as an independent education platform that regularly organises architecture summer workshops.
