The weather does not seem to go in favour of wine events this year and the fourth edition of the Good Night Mád festival was sadly no exception. Yet, while the 6pm opening concert had to be moved from the courtyard of Barta Cellar to their upstairs ballroom, just as most of the subsequent performances to 'plan B' indoor venues, the decent turnout of returning festival regulars refused to let the atmosphere dip despite repeated showers having cooled temperatures quite a bit for the night.

Debuted in 2014, Good Night Mád (Jó éjszakát, Mád! in HU) is a night-time wine and music festival that involves the courtyards and buildings of several wineries as well as public places being turned into concert venues for an early-June Saturday night. A series of choral, classical, jazz and world music concerts start eraly evening and last into the early hours of Sunday while a total of fifteen cellars and eateries stayed open late to offer wine and food to night-time concertgoers.
